I received a Check from this ECN research out of toronto, canada. And the check had on it Swissotel Chicago in Chicago,ill also the bank was from Du Quoin State Bank in Du Quion, ill. it was for 4,190.27 dollars. Im thinking how nice can this be for a christmas present but, how would I have gotten ahold of that kind of money. But, I called the Du Quoin State Bank talked to a lady there told me that there had been several of them come in the bank. Also whoever made checks have been in that bank before to know the routing number. Also, called Swissotel Chicago and they were aware of it to. So,I hope whoevers doing this gets caught because is wrong that you do people this way. And it is fraud big time.

No, Brian, these comments are not a scam. These are comments from people who “googled” ECN checks when they received the fraudulent checks and landed here. ECN research does not send out these checks, the scammers send them out using the name of ECN. At one time, ECN had a disclaimer on their website about the scam and not to cash the checks. If,however, you still don’t believe it, go ahead and cash the check and then come back and leave a comment about how much money you lost.
